PALILULA INDUSTRIAL ZONES ON THE MAP OF THE WORLD

South Korea`s company “Yura” opened in the work zone Donje Medjurovo of the City Municipality of Palilula, factory, second in Serbia, where it will be employed 1500 workers.
For this investment totals 15 million euros, “Yura” is through Ministry of Economy and Regional Development received subsidies from the budget of the Serbia of 10, 5 million euros, or 7.000 euros per new created job.
To the opening of the factory “Yura” in Nis attended President of Serbia Boris Tadic, Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric and leader of United Regions of Serbia Mladjan Dinkic, management of the City of Nis, City Municipality of Palilula and numerous guests.
President of Serbia Boris Tadic said that the overall business environment must be constantly improve and that the business climate must be improved, to attract new investors. “Such an approach of the Government of Serbia should provide new perspective for citizens and to improve standard of living”, said Tadic. President told to the employees in “Yura” that by keeping its work, they create chance for new jobs in Serbia, because management of “Yura” will spread the word about quality of workers in Serbia and about country which cares of its investors.
President of Yura corporation Om De Jal said on the opening that factory in Nis will be main manufacturing base of Yura in Europe and that production capacity exceeds expectations. “Yura” deals with electronic production capacity for automotive industry, first of all with cable installation and its components, but and automotive spark plug, coil and its cable and currently covers more then 60 percent of needs of companies “Hyundai” and “KIA Motors” for cable installations.
Investment of South Korean company, from a total of 15 million euros, it is very important for the City of Nis and Palilula Municipality, which is among poorest municipalities in Serbia.
